Dr. Jeffrey Simon

Dr. Simon was born and raised in South Jersey and has returned to practice here. In addition to General Psychiatry, he has specialized training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine & Psychiatry. He welcomes the opportunity to be a provider of these services for you or a loved one.

Background & Training

Dr. Simon completed his General Psychiatry residency at LSU/Ochsner in Post-Katrina New Orleans, where he was one of few psychiatrists who remained in the city at a time when psychiatric care was among the most needed specialties.

His training encompassed serving children and adults with chronic and acute issues such as depressive and anxiety disorders, ADHD, substance abuse, and PTSD, as well as other crisis management. These experiences in New Orleans led him to commit to further training in the nationally recognized shortage sub-specialties of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine & Psychiatry.

This comprehensive training has uniquely prepared him to meet the complex needs of the population — particularly children and their families.
