Cherry Hill Recovery Center provides outpatient drug rehab on Marlton Pike East, a short drive for residents of Camden County, Burlington County and Gloucester County. Our programs are licensed by NJ DMHAS and accredited by The Joint Commission. Care is led by Dr. Jeffrey Simon, a board-certified psychiatrist, alongside licensed counselors and a medical team that treats addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions together.
Outpatient rehab means you keep living at home — or in sober housing — while attending structured treatment on a set schedule. That structure is what makes the difference: group therapy, individual counseling, psychiatric care, medication when it is appropriate, and a plan for what happens after the program ends. Everyone starts with the same first step, a free assessment, so the level of care matches the situation rather than a guess.
Most people move through more than one level. Your assessment determines where you start, and the plan is adjusted as you progress.
PHP is our most structured level of outpatient drug rehab — full treatment days, five to six days a week, while you sleep at home each night. It suits people stepping down from detox or residential care, and people whose assessment points to daily clinical support.

For opioid use disorder, medication reduces cravings and withdrawal so therapy has a chance to work. Our prescribers use buprenorphine and naltrexone options and review them with you at every stage — medication is offered as part of treatment, never in place of it.
Some people can start outpatient rehab right away. Others — especially with opioids, alcohol or benzodiazepines — need medically supervised withdrawal management first. We do not run an inpatient detox unit. What we do is assess you, coordinate placement with a licensed detox provider, and hold your spot so you move into PHP or IOP with no gap in care.
